About us

The company GRAND HOTEL LAV Ltd is the owner of the Hotel Complex Lav, the most beautiful and magnificent hotel resort on the Adriatic. The Hotel Complex Lav is situated some 8 km south of Split, and was officially opened in mid December 2006.
With building area of approx 60.000 m2 together with surrounding land of promenades, walkways, green oasis, beaches and marina on more than 40.000 m2, the Complex offers a large variety of facilities and services:

- 381 units (rooms and suites) with capacity to host up to 1000 guests
- Reception level with a variety of bars and restaurants, library and shopping arcade
- State of the art Conference facilities of 3.500 m2, with divisible and multifunctional main ballroom, 8 additional meeting rooms, large foyer, bar and terrace
- Entertainment centre of 2.800 m2 – Grand Casino Lav & Club InMotion designed by Principal Casino & Hotel design, France
- Diocletian Wellness and Spa centre with indoor and outdoor pool on more than 5.000 m2 designed by Studio Kusan, Zagreb, Croatia

The hotel interior features the signature design of the world renowned designer Lorenzo Bellini, Rome, Italy, and the magnificent green oasis with the variety of native plants and exquisite lighting effects are the signature of landscape designer Mr James Nicolay, USA together with the local company Jadro Ltd, Split, Croatia.

A large emphasis has been given to providing modern state of the art facilities and meeting EU standards:
- All kitchens (total of five) are equipped and controlled by the newest HACCP standards
- The Conference centre is equippped with high tech AV equipment
- All hotel areas are protected by the fire sprinker system and smoke detectors
- 4-pipe air conditioning systems
- CNUS (central system for energy consumption control) takes care of rational consumption and energy savings
- Our internal security cares for the safety of the guest with the newest video surveillance systems and qualified personel

The Hotel is managed by Le Méridien S.A. , one of Starwood Hotels & Resorts global brands, and the Grand Casino Lav & Club InMotion are managed by American Chance Casinos/ Transworld Corporation, USA,. Management by these parties is based on the individual management agreements that have been signed between them and Grand Hotel Lav Ltd.

With all the facilities that the Hotel Complex Lav offers, it forms a small village of entertainment and leisure to which it can be said that it is not only a hotel, but a tourist destination in itself. We await to welcome you.
